The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobsen tries to clinch but Spiegel moves out of range.
Spike Spiegel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jacobsen looks to land a combination but Spiegel avoids it well.
Spiegel wants to clinch but Jacobsen slips to the side
and Jacobsen counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jacobsen.

Spiegel sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
