PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Bosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tix Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pain has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Bosh with that takedown attempt.
Bosh has a takedown stuffed.

Bosh moves into range and clinches up with Pain.

Bosh turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bosh manages to end up in side control.
Pain is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Bosh closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bosh seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pain does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bosh gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Bosh here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Pain is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Pain drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pain jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bosh's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bosh's back!

Pain is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bosh defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bosh wants to control his opponent's hands but Pain gets his hands free.

Pain working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Bosh is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Pain has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Bosh taps out!
