Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dracula Hardy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Smithers! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smithers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hardy moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hardy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smithers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hardy tries to score with some ground and pound. Smithers controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Hardy lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Smithers down.
Smithers is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Hardy controls the position from side control. Smithers pushes Hardy away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hardy gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy throwing shots but missing, from side control. Smithers stops Hardy from passing to mount. Smithers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hardy throwing shots but missing, from side control. That's four minutes gone in the round. Hardy sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Hardy throws a strike there. Smithers manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Hardy decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Smithers throws a right hand that Hardy ducks under and follows up with a left that Hardy also avoids with ease. Smithers tries to bum rush Hardy with a series of wild strikes but Hardy uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Smithers misses with a wild combination.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dracula Hardy dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Hardy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hardy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Smithers is trying to stand up. Hardy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smithers is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hardy swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Smithers is now in Hardy's guard. A big mistake from Hardy there, giving up the dominant position! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hardy holds on and takes a little breather. Smithers wants to get up but he can't break Hardy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy controlling Smithers's posture. Smithers wants to stand and escape but instead Hardy has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Smithers keeping moving, preventing Hardy from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Smithers wants to get back to his feet but Hardy is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hardy pushing down on Smithers's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Smithers is staying active underneath Hardy, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Smithers pushes Hardy off and gets back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A combination from Smithers does no damage. Smithers takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hardy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dracula Hardy dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Smithers misses with a hook. Hardy ducked under it nicely. Smithers loads up on a big right hand but Hardy slips the punch. A big right from Hardy misses. Smithers scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Hardy throws a low kick but Smithers avoids it. Smithers leaves Hardy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hardy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smithers goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. No joy there for Smithers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hardy takes one to the chin there. Hardy throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Smithers throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Smithers lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hardy scores with a takedown into Smithers's guard. Hardy thows a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy advances to half guard. Smithers is in trouble now - Hardy has advanced to mount! Smithers is trying to stand up. Hardy throwing strikes here but Smithers is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hardy won't let Smithers get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Hardy tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Smithers is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Smithers wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hardy.
Hardy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Noah Smithers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dracula Hardy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hardy throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Smithers because Hardy loaded up on that one. Hardy content just to control the position here.
And that's the end of the fight! Noah Smithers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hardy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
