Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vitor Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cleon Base!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Base closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Silva is striking off his back. Base thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Silva tries to kick Base off in order to stand up. Base Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Base has an Americana. Silva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Base is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Base hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
