The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammit tries to clinch but Slice moves out of range.
Hammit shoots in and drives through. Slice sprawls well.
Slice stuffs the takedown.
Hammit closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slice circles away.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Slice takes the fight into the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hammit tries to break the clinch but Slice is controlling the position.

Hammit ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slice moves away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Slice lands a big shot there that rocks Hammit but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Slice takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hammit tries to hold on but Slice postures up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hammit is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
