Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between THE Jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason DeRuLo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jobber has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jason DeRuLo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with THE Jobber's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, THE Jobber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason DeRuLo! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeRuLo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. DeRuLo wants the takedown. Jobber is fighting it off but DeRuLo persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jobber's guard against the cage. Jobber keeping moving, preventing DeRuLo from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as DeRuLo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jobber keeping moving, preventing DeRuLo from controlling successfully. DeRuLo slips nicely into half guard. DeRuLo performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. DeRuLo passes to full mount! Jobber is breathing heavily. DeRuLo controlling the pace for now. DeRuLo is stalling here but it's allowed Jobber to get half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. DeRuLo is keen to just control but Jobber is a slippery customer. DeRuLo performing his best blanket impression for a moment. DeRuLo working Jobber over with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DeRuLo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jason DeRuLo just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. DeRuLo has Jobber up against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. DeRuLo manages to pull guard.
Jobber won't allow DeRuLo to get back to his feet. DeRuLo wants to sweep here but Jobber controlling him for the moment. Jobber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. DeRuLo swivels though and keeps the full guard. DeRuLo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jobber is controlling him. DeRuLo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jobber defends well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. DeRuLo trying to keep a closed guard but Jobber is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jobber fails with the takedown. DeRuLo drives through and clinches with Jobber against the cage.
DeRuLo turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! A lull in the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. DeRuLo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jobber is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. DeRuLo staying calm. DeRuLo trying to control the action but Jobber is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. DeRuLo scoring with punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jobber is being controlled here. DeRuLo has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jobber! A nice elbow there by DeRuLo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. DeRuLo scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jobber?
DeRuLo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jobber has worked his arm free - good work by Jobber!
Jobber is trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason DeRuLo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
DeRuLo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jobber napping and manages to drive through into side control! DeRuLo landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. DeRuLo moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. DeRuLo scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. DeRuLo is chipping away with strikes.
DeRuLo controls the position from side control. DeRuLo advances nicely into full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. DeRuLo unloads with some shots from mount but Jobber bucks and avoids them well.
DeRuLo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. DeRuLo lands a nice shot to the head. Jobber is squirming around, avoiding DeRuLo's attempts to control the action. DeRuLo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jobber is now in DeRuLo's guard. A big mistake from DeRuLo there, giving up the dominant position!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jobber is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Jobber trying to control but DeRuLo is working from the bottom. Jobber stops DeRuLo from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. DeRuLo looking for a sweep. Not yet DeRuLo, not yet. DeRuLo is trying to control the position but Jobber postures up. Jobber trying to control the position from guard on top but DeRuLo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jobber postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jobber swings for the body but DeRuLo moves out of range.
DeRuLo lands with a straight right. Jobber didn't see that one coming. DeRuLo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. DeRuLo manages to break the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jobber misses with a takedown and DeRuLo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jobber won't be happy with that. DeRuLo staying calm.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason DeRuLo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well DeRuLo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
