Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael DeGarmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Stalin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michael DeGarmo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Stalin! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stalin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. DeGarmo sprawls well initially but Stalin persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Stalin is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. DeGarmo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Stalin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. DeGarmo shoots for a double leg takedown but Stalin sprawls well. He's pushed DeGarmo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Stalin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DeGarmo's waist but DeGarmo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stalin off to one side. Stalin misses with a double jab.
Stalin throws a nice looking combination but DeGarmo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stalin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. DeGarmo doesn't succeed with the takedown and Stalin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Stalin. Stalin looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. DeGarmo trying to control the position.
Stalin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of DeGarmo's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. DeGarmo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stalin. Stalin postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stalin postures up in DeGarmo's guard and throws a big left but DeGarmo blocks it. Stalin stands up from DeGarmo's guard - Stalin perhaps looking for a knockout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stalin. Michael DeGarmo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Stalin. Stalin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from DeGarmo. Vladimir Stalin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DeGarmo has a takedown stuffed. DeGarmo doesn't manage to clinch there - Stalin circles away.
DeGarmo is looking to clinch but Stalin is avoiding it.
Stalin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stalin not doing much here.
Let's hope that Stalin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Stalin is keen to just control but DeGarmo is a slippery customer. Stalin wants to pass to mount but DeGarmo is defending the position. Stalin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stalin works his foot free and advances to mount. Stalin looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Stalin with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Stalin throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. DeGarmo tries to lock up and control but Stalin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Stalin pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
DeGarmo tries to hold on but Stalin pushes him away. DeGarmo has given up his back here. Will Stalin look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Stalin has his arm under DeGarmo's chin here. Game over son! Stalin squeezes tightly and DeGarmo is forced to tap out!
