Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matola throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Minor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Matola throws a right and a left that Minor avoids nicely.
Matola lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Matola fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Minor takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Matola lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Minor circles away quickly and effectively.

Carlos Matola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Matola drops Minor with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Minor looks back up at him and smiles so Matola waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Matola bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Minor's head.
Matola thuds his right hand into Minor's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Matola stalks Minor and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Minor's face. Minor staggers backwards, shaken.
Matola drops Minor with a beautiful combination! Minor stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Matola is looking for the KO!
Minor looks up at the clock. Bad move! Matola lands a right hand from hell, dropping Minor. Matola pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
