Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kima Ukona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rasputin's choice of entrance music: TURISAS - Rasputin. Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kima Ukona! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ukona shoots in for a takedown but Rasputin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Rasputin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ukona circles away. Rasputin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ukona swivels and escapes. Ukona fails with the takedown and Rasputin counters by clinching up. Ukona lands with a left to the head. Ukona is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rasputin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kima Ukona. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ukona tries for a takedown but Rasputin manages to get underhooks.

Rasputin stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Rasputin tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rasputin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rasputin has Ukona up against the cage in a clinch.
Ukona has Rasputin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rasputin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Ukona wants a takedown.

Ukona has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rasputin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Ukona is breathing heavily. Rasputin pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Rasputin is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ukona can't fight it off and eventually Rasputin manages to take the fight to the floor. Ukona looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rasputin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rasputin cracks Ukona with a solid left hand. Rasputin trying to control the position from guard on top but Ukona is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rasputin drops back looking for a leg! Ukona is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ukona manages to kick Rasputin off! Rasputin jumps back into Ukona's guard. Ukona striking off his back but it's not causing Rasputin any problems. Rasputin stands up over Ukona, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rasputin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Rasputin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rasputin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rasputin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ukona is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rasputin is aware though and is defending well. Ukona has his foot on Rasputin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rasputin works his way back into a safe position though. Rasputin wants to control from the top but Ukona keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rasputin shoots in but no luck this time. Rasputin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rasputin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ukona trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Ukona looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rasputin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rasputin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ukona manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rasputin manages to get himself to full guard.
Ukona drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rasputin dives on top into guard. Ukona looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rasputin showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rasputin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rasputin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ukona has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rasputin has managed to get both his arms back between Ukona's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Good work by Ukona as he checks the leg kick. Ukona misses with a takedown and Rasputin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Rasputin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
