Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Ravia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Ever (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Ravia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Theo Ever!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ever bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ravia is looking for a sweep.
Ever misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Ravia tries to buck Ever off but Ever is having none of it.
Ever throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Ravia tries to bench press Ever off him but Ever keeps the position.
Ever throws a strike aimed at the side of Ravia's head but Ravia avoids it well.

Ever stands up.
Ravia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ever tries to avoid it but Ravia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ever to the ground. Ever escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ravia moves out of range of the strikes.
Ever fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ever fails with the takedown
and Ravia counters with a straight right hand.
Ever throws a head kick that half lands.
Some bone on bone action there as Ravia checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ever tries to close the distance and clinch but Ravia swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Ever counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ever tries to stand but Ravia is controlling from the bottom.

Ever pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ravia is keeping the position for now.
Ever is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Ravia looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ever wanted to stand there but Ravia had control of the position.

Everis looking to pass into half guard but Ravia pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Ravia is in guard.
Ravia wants to stand but Ever has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Ravia tries to pull guard but Ever won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ravia dives in and grabs Ever's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ever pushes down on Ravia's head and hops out.
Ravia tries to clinch
and Ever counters with a left to the body.
Ever tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ravia swivels and escapes.
Theo Ever seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ever throws a left and a right that both miss

and Ravia decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ever's guard.
Ever wants to stand up but Ravia is controlling him.
Ever keeping moving, preventing Ravia from controlling successfully.
Ravia is pushing down on Ever's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ever is fighting to maintain full guard but Ravia has managed to sneak the leg through.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Theo Ever dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Ever lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ever prevents the takedown attempt.
Ravia can't get the takedown.

Ravia decides to pull guard.

Ever stands up and waves to Ravia to follow him.
Ravia closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ever circles away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ever escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ravia drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Theo Ever showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
