Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Youshi Nakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy The Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakuraba's entrance music is Store Røve. A fine choice. Randy The Ripper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Youshi Nakuraba! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Randy The Ripper! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakuraba throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
The Ripper has managed to clinch.
Nakuraba wants to stall.
Nakuraba pushes The Ripper back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. The Ripper has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nakuraba is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Nakuraba breaks the clinch.
Nakuraba throws out a loose jab but The Ripper uses good head movement to avoid it. The Ripper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nakuraba pinned against the cage. Nakuraba gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nakuraba tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Nakuraba looks to clinch and The Ripper counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by The Ripper. Nakuraba is trying to break the clinch but The Ripper is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakuraba wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but The Ripper has him pressed against the ropes. The Ripper wants to stall.
Nakuraba is trying to force a seperation but The Ripper has the dominant position. The Ripper is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Nakuraba blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Nakuraba is trying to stall.
Nakuraba is trying to break free. The Ripper drops down looking for an ankle pick but Nakuraba pulls his leg out and moves away.
Youshi Nakuraba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy The Ripper. Nakuraba wants to clinch but The Ripper slips to the side and The Ripper counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The Ripper is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nakuraba sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The Ripper misses with a double jab.
Nakuraba lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as The Ripper backs up against the ropes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - The Ripper looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nakuraba tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but The Ripper paws at him with a jab and circles away. The Ripper checks a leg kick. A head kick misses from Nakuraba. Nakuraba tries to clinch but fails miserably and The Ripper makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Nakuraba is breathing heavily. The Ripper swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nakuraba will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nakuraba ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakuraba needs to keep his hands up - The Ripper had a free shot at his head there. The Ripper throws a lazy head kick and Nakuraba counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The Ripper scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The Ripper sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nakuraba defending well though. The Ripper thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The Ripper wants to control but Nakuraba is keeping him busy. The Ripper content to control rather than advance. Nakuraba is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Ripper trying to control from half guard but Nakuraba is working away. The Ripper not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The Ripper wants to work for an arm triangle but Nakuraba is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A low kick from The Ripper misses and Nakuraba holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. The Ripper looking for a takedown. The Ripper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randy The Ripper dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The Ripper avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The Ripper waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nakuraba. The Ripper throws an overhand right that lands on Nakuraba's shoulder, as Nakuraba tries to avoid the shot. The Ripper just misses with a punch to the body.
The Ripper is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A chopping leg kick lands by Nakuraba. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Ripper throws a sloppy head kick and Nakuraba moves out of range easily. Nakuraba darts in trying to clinch and The Ripper counters with a one-two to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakuraba throws a left and a right that both miss
and The Ripper counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! The Ripper looks at the referee who does nothing so The Ripper lands a crushing right that sends Nakuraba to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy The Ripper! Randy The Ripper retains his heavyweight title!
