Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dolph Lundgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Long John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John has chosen B.Goodunov - Propaganda Nazdorowje as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dolph Lundgren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Long John! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from John misses. John throws a one two combo.
Lundgren tries to close the distance and clinch but John swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Lundgren fails with the takedown. John gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lundgren counters with a nice double leg into guard. John trying to keep a closed guard but Lundgren is proving a slippery customer.
Lundgren lands a couple of decent looking shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lundgren wants to pass the guard but John is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. John is trying to control the position but Lundgren postures up. Lundgren trying to control the position from guard on top but John is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. John looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lundgren might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lundgren is in close to John's body, working some short punches and elbows. John wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Lundgren is now in half guard. John is looking to control Lundgren's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can John avoid being mounted? John tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lundgren connects with a nice short shot to John's temple. John moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. John looks gassed! John has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lundgren is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for John. Lundgren working the ground and pound. John trying to control but Lundgren flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Lundgren lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
The referee is taking a good look at John as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Lundgren!
That's three minutes gone in the round. John can't escape the position.
John breaks Lundgren's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Lundgren is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. John throwing strikes but missing. Lundgren manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. John manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lundgren landing some decent shots from guard. Lundgren has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. John has momentary wrist control but Lundgren slips an elbow through the middle. Lundgren makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. John throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Lundgren with a nice head shot there. Lundgren tries to free his leg and advance position but John is retaining full guard. John is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. John escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lundgren gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dolph Lundgren dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lundgren gets a takedown into half guard. John looking for submissions off his back. Lundgren is thwarting John's attempts to control the position. John might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lundgren kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's one minute gone in the round. John looking for submissions off his back. Lundgren could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lundgren missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. John actively working from the bottom here. John is pressing down on Lundgren's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. John is breathing heavily. John keeping busy on the bottom but Lundgren has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nice strikes from Lundgren there. John tries to get to full guard but Lundgren has control of the leg. Lundgren passes into side control, despite John's attempt to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lundgren works to advance to full mount. John defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. A nice elbow there by Lundgren. John keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. John gets back to half guard. Lundgren looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks John with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. John moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. John is striking off his back. Lundgren thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Lundgren missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. John actively working from the bottom here. John works his way to full guard. Good work. John looking to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lundgren keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of John's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dolph Lundgren dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Lundgren fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lundgren shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts John as he jumps to the side. John throws a series of strikes that have Lundgren backpedaling.
Lundgren tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but John swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dolph Lundgren. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. John lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
John looks to clinch so Lundgren counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. John looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lundgren is one step ahead there. John takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. John thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Lundgren sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed John's guard. John wants to get back to full guard. Lundgren passes the guard and advances to mount! John is desperately trying to improve his position but Lundgren has a good base and remains in mount. Dolph Lundgren overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. John is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Lundgren with good strikes from the mount here! John tries to hold on but Lundgren pushes him away. Lundgren prevents John from getting the reversal. John bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! John throwing strikes but missing. John trying to control but Lundgren is working from the bottom. John throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. John trying to control but Lundgren is working from the bottom. John keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lundgren's head. John wants to control from the top but Lundgren keeps moving. John is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. John passes into half guard. John is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lundgren is pressing down on John's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. John stopping the sweep attempt from Lundgren. John has gone for a leg lock! Lundgren slips out almost immediately though and dives into John's guard. Lundgren stays in close to John's body and controls the position. Long John has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lundgren working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Dolph Lundgren showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lundgren, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
