Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Fragglerock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makua Koa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makua Koa has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fragglerock gets the takedown into side control. Fragglerock tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fragglerock has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Koa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fragglerock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Koa can't do much from the bottom here. Koa dodges the ground and pound from Fragglerock. Fragglerock tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fragglerock has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Fragglerock working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koa tries to improve position but can't. Fragglerock trying to control the action but Koa is working from the bottom. A lull in the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fragglerock tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Fragglerock remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Fragglerock fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Koa with the ground and pound but Fragglerock uses the opportunity to regain guard. Fragglerock has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Koa looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fragglerock controls Koa momentarily but Koa frees himself. Koa trying to move into half guard but instead Fragglerock has managed to sweep! Fragglerock controls from within his opponent's guard. Fragglerock trying to control but Koa is working from the bottom. Fragglerock sitting in guard here, content to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fragglerock pushing down on Koa's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Fragglerock dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Koa scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Koa tries to move to full mount but Fragglerock actually manages to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koa thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fragglerock's head. Fragglerock moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Fragglerock controls Koa momentarily but Koa frees himself. Koa tries to free his leg and advance position but Fragglerock is retaining full guard. Koa is breathing heavily. Fragglerock is adopting a defensive guard. Fragglerock has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Koa should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Fragglerock has tightened it up now! Koa should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
