Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Senki Gudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gudo comes to the ring accompanied by Money to Blow. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Senki Gudo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Forrest Penn! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn cracks Gudo with an open hand slap. A combination from Penn does no damage. Penn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gudo moves away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gudo is defended easily by Penn. The fight stays on the outside here - Gudo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gudo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gudo is trying to work for a kimura but Penn is defending well.
Penn is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gudo decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Penn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gudo. Gudo gets in close and instigates a clinch. Penn is trying to break free. Penn wants to break free but Gudo has control.
Gudo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Penn's efforts to push away. Penn gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gudo.
Penn tries to circle away but Gudo has him pinned against the ropes. Gudo fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Senki Gudo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Penn wants to get back to striking at distance but Gudo won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn has had enough of the clinch but Gudo keeps him there for the moment. Gudo scores with a shoulder strike. Gudo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Penn smiles and moves away.
Gudo closes the distance and clinches up with Penn, looking for a takedown. Gudo pushes Penn against the ropes but Penn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Penn misses with a hook. Gudo ducked under it nicely. Gudo lands a really nice looking cross but Penn seems unphased.
Gudo lands with a shot to the body. Gudo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Penn moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gudo fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn slaps away a takedown attempt from Gudo, before circling back to the center of the mat. Forrest Penn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gudo drives through with a takedown into guard. Gudo tries to free his leg and advance position but Penn is retaining full guard. Penn wants to stand but Gudo is controlling the position. Gudo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Penn dives on top into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gudo has a closed guard, preventing Penn from standing up. Gudo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Penn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gudo is proving hard to escape from. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Senki Gudo will probably get the nod. That's time! Gudo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
No luck for Gudo with that takedown attempt. Penn swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Penn as Gudo shoots in. Senki Gudo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gudo wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gudo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Penn pinned against the cage. Penn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Senki Gudo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn throws a jab but it's blocked by Gudo. Penn misses with a two punch combination.
Gudo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A telegraphed right hand from Penn misses the target. Gudo takes one to the chin there. Gudo moves out of range as Penn strikes. Penn digs a good hook to Gudo's body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big left from Penn misses. Penn drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Gudo right on the button. Gudo goes down! Penn follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Penn gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Forrest Penn!
