Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Parker David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Slipknot - Duality. Desmond Wolf will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Parker David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Desmond Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Wolf misses its intended target.
Wolf thows a left - swing and a miss!
David keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
David throws a jab but it's blocked by Wolf.
David throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Desmond Wolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
David connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nice defenses there by David.
David ducks under a wild hook from Wolf.
A decent looking cross lands there for Wolf.
Wolf lands with a nice body punch.

David closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
David prevents Wolf from standing back up.
David prevents Wolf from improving his position.
Wolf wants to get back to his feet.
David tries to pass the half guard into mount. Wolf knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

David is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wolf defends it well.

Wolf is looking for a sweep. David is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
David trying to mount his opponent but Wolf defends it.

David looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wolf wants to hold on but David pushes him away.
David can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wolf is looking to escape.

David is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wolf can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Wolf tries to lock up and control but David gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Wolf really doesn't want to stay on the ground with David. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
David wants to take Wolf's back but he can't do it this time.
David avoids the attempt from Wolf to control.
Wolf holds on for dear life, controlling David's posture momentarily.
Wolf tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Parker David dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



David throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wolf was covering up waiting for the punch and David finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wolf is trying to control the position but David postures up.
Wolf looking to hit a scissor sweep but David is one step ahead there.
David wants to pass the guard but Wolf is keeping the position.
Wolf is trying to keep David in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wolf keeping moving, preventing David from controlling successfully.

David has gone for a leg lock! Wolf slips out almost immediately though and dives into David's guard.

David is looking for a triangle but Wolf pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wolf wants to control from the top but David keeps moving.
David is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Wolf thows a big elbow that misses.
Wolf trying to control but David is working from the bottom.
David lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wolf!

David goes for an armbar but Wolf turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Wolf.
Wolf is looking to work some ground and pound but David has wrist control.
Wolf trying to control the position from guard on top but David is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wolf is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
David might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
David is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
David trying to mount his opponent but Wolf defends it.
Wolf pushes David off looking to stand but David dives back in and keeps control.
Wolf is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
David stalling away here and it's allowed Wolf to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wolf wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Parker David dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


David moves out of range as Wolf strikes.
David slips a jab from Wolf.

Wolf digs a good hook to David's body.
Wolf thuds his right hand into David's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Wolf ducks down and throws a hook to the body but David moves away.
David slips under a jab.
Wolf uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by David.

David shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wolf napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

David wants to control the pace but Wolf is squirming around nicely.
David tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
David can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wolf is looking to escape.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wolf tries to hold on but David pushes him away.
David takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

I really don't envy Wolf right now.

And that's the end of the fight!
Parker David showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for David, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
