Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Max Owen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Junior Lewis! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Owen slips a jab and a cross from Lewis.
Lewis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Owen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lewis shoots in for a takedown but Owen shows good takedown defense. Lewis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lewis throws a strike but Owen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lewis wants to sweep but no luck. Lewis throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Owen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lewis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Owen has managed to get both his arms back between Lewis's legs - danger averted.

Junior Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Owen ducks right into an uppercut from Lewis. Owen slips under a jab. Owen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lewis's head. Max Owen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lewis shoots in looking for a takedown. Owen tries to sprawl out of it but Lewis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Owen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Max Owen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Lewis. Lewis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Owen! Owen is squirming around, avoiding Lewis's attempts to control the action.

Owen takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lewis throws some wild stikes that Owen manages to avoid easily.

Well, if Lewis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lewis connects with a nice short shot to Owen's temple. Lewis landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Lewis is keen to just control but Owen is a slippery customer. Lewis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Owen wants to get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lewis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Lewis not landing any meaningful shots this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lewis is looking to pass Owen's guard but actually Owen recovers to full guard. Owen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lewis shoots in for a takedown but Owen shows good takedown defense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Junior Lewis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis throws and elbow that misses. Owen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lewis's guard. Nice move by Owen! Owen won't allow Lewis to sweep him here. Owen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lewis, up you get! Lewis misses with a straight right. Lewis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Max Owen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lewis is defended easily by Owen. Max Owen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Lewis. Owen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Owen fails in his attempt to clinch. Owen leaves Lewis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lewis misses with a wild body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lewis. Lewis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Lewis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. That's four minutes gone in the round. Lewis wants to pass the guard but Owen is keeping the position. Lewis trying to control the position from guard on top but Owen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Max Owen. I think Lewis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
