The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Firefly gets a takedown into half guard.
Firefly is pressing down on Mcfly's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mcfly is holding on for now.
Firefly passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mcfly!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Firefly has hold of Mcfly's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mcfly manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Firefly scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Firefly is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mcfly can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Firefly has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mcfly's face.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
You get the feeling that Mcfly really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcfly is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Mcfly is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Firefly can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mcfly is looking to escape.

Mcfly tries to buck Firefly off so he can stand up but Firefly has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Mcfly falls backwards, slamming Firefly to the mat but Firefly holds on tight! Mcfly is forced to tap and this one is all over!
