Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between anaho anaho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matsas Fireflie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fireflie has chosen Chickent as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
anaho moves in looking to clinch but Fireflie pushes him off.
anaho tries to clinch up but Fireflie circles away and keeps his distance.
anaho tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fireflie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fireflie looks for a takedown but anaho sprawls well.
anaho tries to clinch but Fireflie is having none of it.
Fireflie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
anaho kicks off Fireflie and gets to his feet.
Fireflie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

anaho moves in looking to clinch but Fireflie pushes him off.
Horrible takedown by Fireflie or perhaps it was just good defense by anaho which made him look bad.

anaho anaho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matsas Fireflie.
anaho instigates a clinch.
anaho jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fireflie walks away with a smile on his face. anaho gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

anaho is in close to Fireflie's body, working some short punches and elbows.
anaho has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as anaho accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
anaho postures up.
anaho wants to stand but Fireflie is controlling his posture from full guard.

Fireflie dives in and grabs anaho's left leg, looking for a takedown. anaho pushes down on Fireflie's head and hops out.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fireflie feints and as anaho raises his hands in defense, Fireflie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
anaho is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fireflie is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matsas Fireflie dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fireflie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. anaho tries to avoid it but Fireflie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag anaho to the ground. anaho escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Matsas Fireflie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Matsas Fireflie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

anaho uses his free foot to push down on Fireflie's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fireflie.

anaho has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fireflie's face.
anaho cracks Fireflie with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
anaho throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
anaho postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fireflie looks a forlorn figure.
anaho will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
A nice elbow there by anaho.
anaho anaho has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to anaho anaho.
Well Fireflie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
