Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Custer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Da Baller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Da Baller enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jesse Custer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Da Baller! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baller shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Custer napping and manages to drive through into side control! Custer manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Custer tries to get to full guard but Baller has control of the leg. Baller is figuring out what he wants to do next. Custer is trying to get back to full guard. Baller wants to take a breather but Custer is having none of it. Baller prevents Custer from improving his position. Custer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Custer is staying active underneath Baller, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Baller wants to stand up but Custer is controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Custer with a poor takedown and Baller counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baller stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Custer to get to his feet. Baller gets a takedown into half guard. Custer is pressing down on Baller's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Custer has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Baller is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Custer. Baller wants to control but Custer is keeping him busy. Custer is looking to reverse the position. Baller misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Custer is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Custer stops Baller from passing to mount. Baller has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Custer misses with a hook. Baller ducked under it nicely. Baller throws a nice looking combination but Custer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Custer shoots and misses and Baller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Custer is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Custer looking for a sweep. Not yet Custer, not yet. Custer has a closed guard, preventing Baller from standing up. Baller wants to control from the top but Custer keeps moving. Baller stands up from Custer's guard - Baller perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Custer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Baller takes a little break here. Custer wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Custer is trying to get back to half guard. Baller decides to stand up, so the ref orders Custer to his feet. Custer shoots and misses and Baller counters with a nice double leg into side control. Custer won't be happy with that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesse Custer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baller has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Baller throws out a leg kick but Custer moves out of range and Baller only half commits. Custer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Baller desperately trying to maintain half guard. Custer seems to be working for a kimura but Baller defends the submission attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Baller is concentrating on defense, preventing Custer from advancing position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Da Baller dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Custer with a lazy takedown attempt and Baller counters with a takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Custer is trying to work for a sweep but Baller has mounted him! Baller sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Custer blocking the ground and pound. Baller thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Custer is wriggling around trying to escape.
Baller punching from mount but Custer doing a good job of avoiding damage. Baller trying to control but Custer is having none of it. Baller throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baller punching from mount but Custer doing a good job of avoiding damage. Baller working for a guillotine from mount but Custer is in no mood to give up. Custer is squirming around, avoiding Baller's attempts to control the action. Custer bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Custer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Baller is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Custer, into his guard. Custer is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baller gets to his feet. Custer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Jesse Custer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baller tries to clinch but Custer moves out of range. Baller just misses with a punch to the body.
Baller tries to clinch up. Baller sizes up Custer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Custer doesn't succeed with the takedown and Baller counters with a single leg into guard. Custer didn't expect that. Baller loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Custer looking for a sweep. Not yet Custer, not yet. Custer looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Baller puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Baller keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Baller's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baller throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Custer is not content to let Baller control the position. Custer gets back to full guard.

Baller is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Custer. Baller thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Custer is looking to regain half guard here but Baller keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Custer is working hard here to advance position. Baller wants to control for a moment but Custer uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Baller is looking to take a break and control but Custer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Custer makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Custer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Da Baller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Custer is looking to improve his position but Baller isn't that keen on the idea. Baller looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Baller jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Custer manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Baller dives in and grabs Custer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Custer pushes down on Baller's head and hops out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Excellent takedown into side control there by Custer. Baller is looking to reverse the position. Baller is trying to control Custer's posture but Custer avoids it. Custer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Baller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Baller is trying to get back to half guard. Custer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baller is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Custer asserts his dominance and retains side control. Baller can't do much from the bottom here. Custer working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Custer is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Baller has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Custer working away. Custer goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Baller has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Custer but great work by Baller. Custer is trying to improve his position. Baller controls the position from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Baller decides to stand back up.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jesse Custer. Well Baller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
