Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Leigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey O Neil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mickey O Neil will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bryan Leigh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mickey O Neil!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leigh fakes a jab and throws a low kick but O Neil checks it well.
A telegraphed right hand from O Neil misses the target.
O Neil pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Leigh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Leigh throws a body punch but O Neil moves out of range.
Leigh scoring well with a low kick there.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Leigh.
A nice leg kick lands there from Leigh.
Leigh tries to close the distance and clinch but O Neil swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Leigh checks a low kick from O Neil.
Leigh moves out of range as O Neil strikes.
O Neil jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Leigh misses with a two punch combination.
Leigh avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Neil looks to land a combination. Leigh sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Leigh goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
O Neil throws a jab when Leigh was well out of range.
Leigh scores with a head kick.
It looks like Mickey O Neil has been cut.
A head kick misses from Leigh.
Leigh throws a head kick that half lands.
O Neil throws a head kick that misses.
O Neil misses with a hook.
Leigh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Leigh throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A head kick misses from Leigh.
O Neil catches Leigh with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Leigh slips a straight right by O Neil.
Leigh throws a lazy head kick
and O Neil counters with a crisp one two that drops Leigh! O Neil thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Leigh to his feet! Leigh is in big trouble!
Leigh is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Leigh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Oh Leigh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
O Neil lands with a right that hurts Leigh. Leigh looks to clinch but O Neil throws a short knee that drops Leigh. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Mickey O Neil!
