Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shawn Spencer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oscar Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Spencer as he avoids it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Spencer. Sanchez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Spencer connects with a body shot.
Spencer throws an overhand right that lands on Sanchez's shoulder, as Sanchez tries to avoid the shot.
Spencer cracks Sanchez with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sanchez slips under a jab.
Sanchez is looking to clinch but Spencer is avoiding it.
Sanchez looks to score with a jab to the body but Spencer is just out of range.

Sanchez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Spencer's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Spencer gets back to full guard.

Sanchez is pushing down on Spencer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Spencer is fighting to maintain full guard but Sanchez has managed to sneak the leg through.

Sanchez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sanchez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Spencer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sanchez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sanchez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sanchez wants to control from the top but Spencer keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Spencer misses with a series of wild punches.
Sanchez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Sanchez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Spencer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Oscar Sanchez will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Sanchez is just content to waste time from the top position. Spencer takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Sanchez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Spencer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sanchez has managed to get both his arms back between Spencer's legs - danger averted.

Spencer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Spencer loads up on a big right hand but Sanchez slips the punch.

I think Sanchez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
