Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rami Aziz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Kenshin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aziz comes to the cage accompanied by Roy Jones Jr. - Canīt be Touched. Rami Aziz has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rami Aziz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lyoto Kenshin! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kenshin. Aziz looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Kenshin swats away the attempt to clinch by Aziz. Aziz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Aziz gets a trip takedown into half guard. Kenshin wants to control but Aziz is keeping busy.
Kenshin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kenshin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aziz looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Kenshin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Aziz has picked Kenshin up and slammed him! Kenshin can't keep hold of the triangle and Aziz manages to pass to side control! Kenshin is looking to regain half guard here but Aziz keeps moving and retains side control. Kenshin wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Kenshin is not content to let Aziz control the position. Aziz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kenshin tries to improve position but can't. You can see the frustration on Kenshin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Aziz trying to control the position but Kenshin is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Aziz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kenshin shoots in but Aziz avoids the takedown attempt easily. A jab from Aziz misses. Kenshin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Aziz swivels and escapes. Rami Aziz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyoto Kenshin. Kenshin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Aziz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kenshin tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Aziz tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kenshin working away. Kenshin looks up at the clock and then as Aziz takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kenshin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Aziz is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kenshin off and has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kenshin rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kenshin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Aziz blocks the strikes from Kenshin.
Kenshin gets back to full guard.
Kenshin is looking for a triangle but Aziz pushes his legs off easily.
Aziz is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kenshin has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Aziz is looking to defend but Kenshin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Aziz! Kenshin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Aziz taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Lyoto Kenshin!
