Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iso Susi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luola Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mies comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Can't be touched kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Susi checks a low kick from Mies.
Mies gets caught flat footed, as Susi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Susi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Susi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Mies is trying to improve his position.
Susi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Susi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Susi lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mies down.
Susi tries to move to mount but Mies blocks the move with his legs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mies really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Susi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Susi swings around for an armbar but Mies sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Susi's guard.
Mies is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Susi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mies has picked Susi up and slammed him! Susi can't keep hold of the triangle and Mies manages to pass to side control!

Mies takes a little break here. Susi wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Mies is looking to take a break and control but Susi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Mies throws a front kick aimed at Susi's knee but Susi avoids it well.
Iso Susi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mies throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Susi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mies's waist but Mies gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Susi off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Susi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Susi closes the distance and clinches up with Mies, looking for a takedown. Susi pushes Mies against the cage but Mies circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Good leg kick by Mies there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Susi lands a head shot.
Iso Susi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mies misses with a looping left.

Mies throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A slow jab from Susi misses its intended target.
Susi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Susi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mies wants to get back to his feet but Susi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Susi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Susi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Susi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mies swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Susi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Susi wants to pass the guard but Mies is keeping the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mies stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mies wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iso Susi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Susi dives in and grabs Mies's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mies pushes down on Susi's head and hops out.
Susi shoots for a takedown but Mies saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Susi ducks right into an uppercut from Mies.
It looks like Iso Susi has been cut.
Susi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Susi blocks a low kick nicely.
Mies tries to clinch but Susi is having none of it.
Susi throws a series of punches but Mies moves out of range.
Susi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mies tries to close the distance and clinch but Susi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Susi is fighting to break Mies's control of his arms but Mies is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Mies's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Susi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mies as he avoids it easily.

Luola Mies comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Mies has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
