And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Steve Stevenson!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seppuuken walks into a left hand.


It looks like Teemu Seppuuken has been cut.
Stevenson is looking to clinch.
Stevenson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Seppuuken.

Stevenson takes the fight into the clinch.
Stevenson connects with a knee to the head.
Stevenson unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Seppuuken wants to break the clinch but can't.

Seppuuken tries to circle away but Stevenson has him pinned against the cage.
Stevenson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Seppuuken's face.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Seppuuken is trying to force a seperation but Stevenson has the dominant position.
Seppuuken takes a knee to the side of the body.
Stevenson putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Seppuuken in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Seppuuken is breathing heavily.
Seppuuken wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Seppuuken takes an elbow to the forehead.
Stevenson crunches a lovely knee into Seppuuken's ribcage.
Stevenson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Seppuuken's face.

Stevenson lands a takedown into guard.
Stevenson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Seppuuken's guard.
Stevenson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Stevenson stalling.
Seppuuken blocking the ground and pound attempt from Stevenson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stevenson is taking a breather. Seppuuken says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Stevenson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Seppuuken!

Let's hope that Stevenson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Seppuuken has left one of his arms exposed and Stevenson doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Seppuuken screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
