Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Lantan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akseli Kukkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lantan comes to the cage accompanied by Dont Miss Tha Party Line. Kukkonen has chosen Fintelligens - Kaikki Peliin as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukkonen fails to land the takedown.
Lantan takes a kick to the side of the head.
Kukkonen throws a head kick that Lantan semi-blocks.
Kukkonen dives in and grabs Lantan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lantan pushes down on Kukkonen's head and hops out.
A head kick misses from Kukkonen.
Kukkonen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lantan is fending him off so far but Kukkonen persists. Nope, Lantan circles away and we're back to standing.

Lantan shoots and misses
and Kukkonen counters with a nice body kick.
Lantan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kukkonen was covering up waiting for the punch and Lantan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kukkonen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lantan is aware though and is defending well.

Kukkonen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lantan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lantan closes the distance and clinches up with Kukkonen, looking for a takedown. Lantan pushes Kukkonen against the cage but Kukkonen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lantan drops back looking for a leg! Kukkonen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kukkonen manages to kick Lantan off! Lantan jumps back into Kukkonen's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lantan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
