Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Zamponi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Rover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rover has chosen Drop The World- Lil' Wayne as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rover misses with a head kick.
Rover defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zamponi.
No joy there for Rover, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rover rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zamponi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zamponi is defended easily by Rover.

Rover rushes Zamponi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rover lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Zamponi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rover fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jorge Zamponi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rover stalks Zamponi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Zamponi's face. Zamponi staggers backwards, shaken.
Zamponi blocks a head kick by Rover.

Rover instigates a clinch.
Zamponi really is a fat lump.
Zamponi lands an elbow inside.

Rover breaks from the clinch.
Rover keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A head kick misses from Rover.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rover throws a nice outside leg kick.
Zamponi is breathing heavily.
Rover lets loose with a powerful body kick. Zamponi will feel that in the morning.

Rover drops Zamponi with a beautiful combination! Zamponi stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rover is looking for the KO!

Zamponi is rocked!

It looks like Jorge Zamponi has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rover throws a right and a left that Zamponi avoids nicely.
Rover throws a series of punches but Zamponi avoids them all with ease.
Rover lands a hook that stumbles Zamponi back into the cage. Rover follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Zamponi to the canvas! Rover pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Zamponi has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
