Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Johnny Storm has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Storm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Rizzo! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab lands there for Storm. Storm uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Rizzo lands with a nice combination. Storm backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Johnny Storm has been cut. Storm misses with a series of wild punches.
Storm gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rizzo. Storm scores with the left hand. Rizzo knows he should have avoided that one. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rizzo dives in and grabs Storm's left leg, looking for a takedown. Storm pushes down on Rizzo's head and hops out. Storm misses the shot to the body. Frank Rizzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Storm misses. "I don't think so" says Storm as he avoids it easily. A left and a right from Storm both land. Nice combination. Rizzo looks gassed! Storm scores with a shot to the body.

Storm is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Rizzo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Rizzo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Storm lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Storm bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Storm jabs Rizzo right on the nose. Rizzo blinks but takes it well. Storm scores with a jab to the body. Storm lands a jab to the head.

Good standup being displayed there by Storm as he connects with a hook. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Storm lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Storm. The fight stays on the outside here - Storm looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A telegraphed right hand from Rizzo misses the target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Storm lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Storm will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Storm won't allow Rizzo to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Storm wants to stand but Rizzo has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Storm seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Storm stopping the sweep attempt from Rizzo. Rizzo manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Storm misses the shot to the body. Rizzo closes the distance and clinches up with Storm, looking for a takedown. Rizzo pushes Storm against the cage but Storm circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rizzo moves forwards but Storm connects with a nice, crisp jab. Rizzo shoots for a takedown but Storm saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A big left from Storm misses. Rizzo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

He's got his arms around Storm's waist but Storm gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rizzo off to one side.

Rizzo throws a sloppy head kick and Storm moves out of range easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Johnny Storm showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Storm, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
