Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Bielkheden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cadu Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Brandao with that takedown attempt.
Bielkheden with a poor takedown
and Brandao counters with a takedown into side control.
Brandao has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Brandao shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bielkheden manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Brandao pushes down on Bielkheden's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brandao is thwarting Bielkheden's attempts to control the position.
Bielkheden tries to roll over but Brandao keeps him under control.

Cadu Brandao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brandao has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bielkheden wants to sweep but no luck.
Brandao throwing strikes but missing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bielkheden is on top in guard.
Bielkheden got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brandao has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bielkheden has managed to get both his arms back between Brandao's legs - danger averted.
Bielkheden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brandao swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bielkheden avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brandao is adopting a defensive guard.
Brandao looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bielkheden is breathing heavily.
Brandao utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Brandao throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brandao is on top in guard.
Bielkheden wants to sweep here but Brandao controlling him for the moment.

Brandao stands up and beckons Bielkheden to join him on the feet.
Brandao moves into range and clinches up with Bielkheden.

Brandao is pulling down on Bielkheden's head. It's preventing any offense from Bielkheden, at least for the moment.

Brandao pushes Bielkheden off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Brandao lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Brandao fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bielkheden, pushing him back against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brandao pulls guard.
Bielkheden drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brandao manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bielkheden has Brandao in his guard.
Bielkheden isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Brandao stacks Bielkheden on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brandao!

Brandao closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Brandao shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bielkheden napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Brandao wants to control but Bielkheden is keeping him busy.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Brandao working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Brandao thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bielkheden is looking to get back to his feet here but Brandao is keeping cool and he's managed to take Bielkheden's back.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Brandao controlling the positon.
Brandao has the hooks in. Bielkheden is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Brandao.
Brandao has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Bielkheden is in real trouble here. Brandao gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Bielkheden is tapping out! Brandao wins by rear naked choke!
