The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Russel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bell manages to avoid it.
Russel tries to clinch up.
Nice takedown defense from Russel. No joy for Bell on that attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Russel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bell misses with a few strikes there.
James Russel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Russel wants to clinch.
Russel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like even Bell has been cut.
Bell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Russel swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bell moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Russel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
No joy there for Russel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Russel swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bell.
Bell is rocked!
Bell is holding his hands too far apart here. Russel throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Bell is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
