The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Washington tries to land a front kick but Lennox steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lennox misses with a looping left.
Lennox fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Washington manages to avoid it.
Washington tries a head kick but it misses.
Lennox misses with a hook. Washington ducked under it nicely.
Lennox misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Washington throws a body punch but Lennox moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Washington throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Washington punishes Lennox's body with a nice straight punch.

Lennox moves out of range of the strikes.
Lennox shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Washington but Washington pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A right hook to the body lands for Washington.
Washington misses with a knee to the head.
Washington misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lennox.
Still in the clinch, Washington scores with a nice short uppercut.
Lennox takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Larry Lennox has been cut.
Lennox tries for a takedown but Washington manages to get underhooks.

Washington connects with a nasty looking knee right to Lennox's face.
