Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Angel Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammad Abu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abu shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Soto manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Abu tries to free his leg and advance position but Soto is retaining full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Abu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Abu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mohammad Abu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soto scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Abu doesn't seem bothered though.

Soto stalks Abu and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Abu's face. Abu staggers backwards, shaken.
Horrible takedown by Soto or perhaps it was just good defense by Abu which made him look bad.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Soto is defended easily by Abu.

and Soto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Soto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Abu paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A shot to de liver by Soto. Beautiful body shot.
Soto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abu tries to avoid it but Soto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abu to the ground. Abu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
