Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Noah Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dallas Gillespie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gillespie's choice of entrance music: Go to sleep bit**. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gillespie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diaz pinned against the cage. Diaz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gillespie tries to clinch but Diaz moves out of range.
Diaz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gillespie. Gillespie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gillespie throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Noah Diaz has been cut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz lands a big shot there that rocks Gillespie but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
