Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Botello!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fejha Kurko!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Kurko misses its intended target.
Kurko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kurko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Botello.
Kurko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Botello looks to throw the jab but Kurko is out of range.
Botello looks to land a left hand but Kurko moved out of range nicely.
Kurko lands a high kick!
Botello throws a series of punches but Kurko avoids them all with ease.
Botello pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kurko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Botello.
Botello throws a hook but Kurko blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kurko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kurko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Botello moves away.

It looks like Fejha Kurko has been cut.
Botello throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Botello looks to land a right hand but Kurko moved out of range.
Botello lands with a right hand.
Kurko lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Botello cracks Kurko with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kurko tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Botello pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kurko is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Botello!
