Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fatih Emir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikael Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emir comes to the ring accompanied by i kill people. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Emir misses the target.
Emir lands a with a good body shot.
Emir lands with a cross.

It looks like Mikael Silva has been cut.

Emir bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Emir trying to control the position but Silva is working away.
Silva is trying to control Emir's posture but Emir avoids it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Emir wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Emir decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Emir is thwarting Silva's attempts to control the position.

Emir is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Emir eventually gives up the hold.

Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Emir pulls his head out easily.
Silva regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Emir.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Silva utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Emir throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Emir counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva!
Silva slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Emir takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Silva looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Emir pushes past his half guard into mount!
Silva looks gassed!

Silva tries to hold on but Emir postures up.
Emir is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Silva can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Silva is in all sorts of trouble here.
Emir scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Emir looking to control but Silva is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Silva is bucking up trying to escape but Emir cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

That has opened up Mikael Silva's cut even more.

The cut above Mikael Silva's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Emir cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Silva is wriggling around trying to escape.
Emir cracks Silva with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Mikael Silva's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mikael Silva's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
