The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Demented.
Demented throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Casillas.
Jacob Casillas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Demented throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Demented misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Casillas takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Demented is looking to slow Casillas down with leg kicks.

Demented moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Casillas shoots in but Demented avoids the takedown attempt easily.

No joy there for Casillas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Casillas throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Demented tries to bum rush Casillas with a series of wild strikes but Casillas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A combination from Demented does no damage.

Demented lands with a hook. Casillas tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Demented throws a head kick that misses.
Demented is breathing heavily.

and Demented counters with a series of strikes. Casillas will be more careful next time no doubt.
Demented smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Demented tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Casillas counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Casillas takes one to the chin there.
Casillas avoids the head kick by Demented.
Demented throws a right hand that Casillas ducks under and follows up with a left that Casillas also avoids with ease.
Demented lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Demented knocks Casillas to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Casillas is still in real trouble! Can Demented finish him?

Casillas wants to get back to his feet.
Casillas is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Demented off and has taken his back!

Demented is trying to get back to his feet but Casillas has full control of the position and if anything, Demented has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Casillas seems to have recovered his senses.

Casillas is cranking Demented's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Demented! He's tightened the choke and Demented is tapping out!
