Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antti Hirvi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diesel Kone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diesel Kone told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirvi tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kone misses with an uppercut. Hirvi saw that one coming.

Kone tries to clinch up.
Hirvi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kone tries to avoid it but Hirvi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kone to the ground. Kone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kone throws a hook but Hirvi blocks it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hirvi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hirvi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hirvi there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kone works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hirvi throws a hook to the side of Kone's head but Kone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hirvi.

Kone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hirvi manages to avoid it.

Hirvi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kone just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kone lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
