Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew McIntyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gun throws a solid leg kick but McIntyre takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gun.
McIntyre fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gun looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gun takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Tommy Gun has been cut.
Left hook, right uppercut from Gun.
McIntyre shoots for a double leg takedown but Gun sprawls well. He's pushed McIntyre's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McIntyre moves into the clinch.
Gun is looking to break free of the clinch but McIntyre has double underhooks.
Gun tries to land knees in the clinch but McIntyre avoids the damage to the body.
Gun wants to get back to striking at distance but McIntyre won't allow it.
McIntyre is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Gun is keeping busy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McIntyre shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gun pinned against the cage. Gun gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

McIntyre slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gun feints and then cracks McIntyre's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McIntyre down.
McIntyre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

McIntyre fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gun avoids it really well and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gun lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Gun tries to bum rush McIntyre with a series of wild strikes but McIntyre uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
