Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinn Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Purity by Slipknot. Quinn Johnson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sam Williams's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quinn Johnson! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well. Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Williams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A left lands for Johnson.
It looks like Sam Williams has been cut. Johnson tries to clinch there but Williams circles away.
Williams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson missing with a left hand there. Williams was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Williams shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Johnson lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Williams sprawling to the canvas. Johnson follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Williams hang on?
Williams is rocked! Williams is breathing heavily. Johnson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Oh Williams is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Johnson scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Johnson scoring with strikes to the body and head. Williams is looking to improve his position.
Williams taking some punishment here, with Johnson in his half guard. Williams tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control. Johnson slips a nice elbow through Williams's hands, connecting with Williams's forehead. Williams looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams has hold of Johnson's hands but Johnson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Williams taking some punishment here, with Johnson in his half guard. Johnson working Williams over with strikes. Johnson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Johnson wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs. Williams looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Williams seems to have got his legs back now. Johnson working Williams over with strikes. Williams makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Williams. Johnson is sitting in close to Williams's body. Williams has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Johnson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Johnson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Williams.
