Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bill Bucanon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuki Hilli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bucanon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Achozen - Deuces . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bucanon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hilli has momentary wrist control but Bucanon slips an elbow through the middle.
Hilli keeping moving, preventing Bucanon from controlling successfully.
Hilli is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Bucanon looking to pass the guard.
Bucanon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hilli uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bucanon tries to lock up and control but Hilli gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bucanon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Hilli breaks from Bucanon's wrist control and lands an elbow.

That was a close round but I would say that Bill Bucanon will probably get the nod.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Hilli shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hilli showed some decent athleticism there.

Hilli wants to pass to mount but Bucanon is defending the position.
Hilli is trying to control the action in half guard but Bucanon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Bucanon is refusing to be controlled, as Hilli sits in half guard.

Kuki Hilli showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bucanon is looking to stand up but Hilli isn't so interested in that idea.

Bucanon wants to get up but he can't break Hilli's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hilli isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bucanon stacks Hilli on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bucanon!
Bucanon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hilli manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bill Bucanon.
