Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Rozwalka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Khalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tomasz Rozwalka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mamed Khalidov! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khalidov misses with a series of wild punches.
Khalidov looks to land a combination but Rozwalka avoids it well. Rozwalka shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Khalidov is trying to defend but Rozwalka finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Rozwalka with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Rozwalka is pressing down on Khalidov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Khalidov is holding on for now. Khalidov has his hands clasped together around Rozwalka's back. He's all about the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khalidov has a hand on Rozwalka's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Rozwalka takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Rozwalka trying to control but he's not successful this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rozwalka looking to ground and pound but Khalidov is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Poor strikes thrown by Rozwalka there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rozwalka controlling from the full mount. Khalidov wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Rozwalka.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Khalidov wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Rozwalka.
Rozwalka lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rozwalka looking to control and managing it successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rozwalka with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Khalidov closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Tomasz Rozwalka has been cut. Rozwalka throws a series of punches but Khalidov moves out of range. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. and Rozwalka counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Khalidov's guard now. Rozwalka won't allow Khalidov to sweep him here. Rozwalka stands up from Khalidov's guard - Rozwalka perhaps looking for a knockout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. and Rozwalka counters with a nice uppercut. Khalidov throws a lazy head kick so Rozwalka counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Rozwalka's corner is telling him to maintain position. Khalidov is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rozwalka wants to control from the top but Khalidov keeps moving. Rozwalka is really struggling to control Khalidov but he's trying to hold on to the position. Rozwalka is looking to work some ground and pound but Khalidov has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rozwalka lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Rozwalka with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Rozwalka looking to pass the guard. Khalidov keeping moving, preventing Rozwalka from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khalidov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Khalidov keeping full guard, as Rozwalka tries to pass.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rozwalka lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Rozwalka misses with a series of wild punches.

and Rozwalka counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rozwalka. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rozwalka drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rozwalka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tomasz Rozwalka dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Tomasz Rozwalka's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Khalidov lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Khalidov wants to clinch but Rozwalka slips to the side and Rozwalka counters by moving into the clinch. Khalidov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rozwalka smiles and moves away.
Tomasz Rozwalka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Khalidov's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Khalidov duly obliges. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Khalidov misses with a double jab
and Rozwalka counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rozwalka. Rozwalka won't allow Khalidov to get back to his feet. Rozwalka advances to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Khalidov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rozwalka.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rozwalka slips a nice elbow through Khalidov's hands, connecting with Khalidov's forehead. Rozwalka is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Rozwalka wants to advance to full mount but Khalidov doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Khalidov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rozwalka seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Rozwalka postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khalidov wants to stand up but Rozwalka is controlling him. Khalidov keeping moving, preventing Rozwalka from controlling successfully. Khalidov is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Khalidov tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mamed Khalidov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rozwalka is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Khalidov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Rozwalka has Khalidov pressed against the cage, preventing Khalidov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Khalidov throws a combination that misses and Rozwalka counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Khalidov! Tomasz Rozwalka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Khalidov takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Tomasz Rozwalka is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Khalidov squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tomasz Rozwalka. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rozwalka, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
