Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Da Vid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Da Vid was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vid looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rude scores with a nice head shot.
That has opened up Da Vid's cut even more.
Vid shoots in looking for a takedown. Rude tries to sprawl out of it but Vid keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rude manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rude throws a good cross that connects.
Rude works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Vid shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rude defends it nicely.
Rick Rude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Da Vid.
Vid closes the distance and clinches up with Rude, looking for a takedown. Vid pushes Rude against the cage but Rude circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vid misses with a few strikes there.
Rude feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Vid sprawling to the canvas! Vid rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rude finish him?!
Vid is rocked!
The cut above Da Vid's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rude drops Vid with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Vid! Rude dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Rude!
