Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Kyznetsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyznetsov has chosen Crush It Down by Crooked X as his entrance music. Alexei Kyznetsov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anthony Rossi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexei Kyznetsov! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kyznetsov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kyznetsov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rossi is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kyznetsov wants to control the pace but Rossi is squirming around nicely. Rossi regains half guard. Rossi keeping control of the position. Kyznetsov trying to control from half guard but Rossi is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rossi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rossi works his way to full guard. Good work. Rossi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rossi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kyznetsov's head. Rossi is looking for a kimura here.
Kyznetsov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rossi. Rossi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kyznetsov defends it well. Rossi not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Rossi trying to mount his opponent but Kyznetsov defends it. Rossi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kyznetsov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rossi. Rossi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kyznetsov defends it well. Rossi is breathing heavily. Rossi is thwarting Kyznetsov's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kyznetsov lands a couple of sideways elbows. Rossi is looking for a kimura but Kyznetsov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rossi to get the leverage. Rossi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kyznetsov defends it well. Rossi is thwarting Kyznetsov's attempts to control the position. Kyznetsov is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Rossi is staying active. Rossi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kyznetsov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rossi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rossi's back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kyznetsov working for a choke but Rossi is defending well. Rossi rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Kyznetsov is stalling here. Rossi is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kyznetsov seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rossi has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Rossi has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kyznetsov is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Rossi yanks on the arm and Kyznetsov is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Rossi.
