Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erik Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by FlipSyde - Champion . Shaw has chosen Shangri-La as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shaw feints and as Williams raises his hands in defense, Shaw changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Shaw thows a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shaw loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Shaw is looking to work some ground and pound but Williams has wrist control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Williams has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Williams is looking to stand up but Shaw isn't so interested in that idea.
Shaw tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Williams moves out of range of the body kick.

Shaw changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williams tries to avoid it but Shaw manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williams to the ground. Williams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Williams wants to stand and escape but Shaw is having none of it.
Shaw stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Shaw slips nicely into half guard.
Williams desperately trying to maintain half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
Erik Williams showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Williams, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
