Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremiah Russel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Ranz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jeremiah Russel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Toni Ranz! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ranz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Ranz gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ranz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Russel is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Russel is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Russel working hard to break the clinch. Ranz keeps control of Russel as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Ranz manages to break the clinch.
Ranz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Russel has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ranz shoots in for a takedown but Russel shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Russel falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ranz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ranz. Ranz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No luck for Ranz with that takedown attempt. Jeremiah Russel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toni Ranz. Russel with a jab. Russel scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Russel connects with a jab. Ranz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch lands to the side of Ranz 's head but he takes it in his stride. Ranz misses with a takedown attempt - Russel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Russel throws a shot to the body.
Ranz fails with the takedown. Jeremiah Russel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ranz looks gassed! Russel throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ranz counters with an inside leg kick. Russel closes the distance and lands a one-two. Russel thuds a left hand into Ranz's body. Russel uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ranz has time to react. Russel lands a left and a right that send Ranz crashing to the mat, dazed. Russel thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ranz is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ranz takes one to the side of the head.
Ranz is still on wobbly legs! Can Russel finish him? Russel connects with a looping right hand.
Russel sends Ranz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Russel is motioning to the referee to let Ranz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Ranz looks up at the clock. Bad move! Russel lands a right hand from hell, dropping Ranz. Russel pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeremiah Russel!
