Jon Mirasty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mirasty throws a shot from downtown. Nead moves away and avoids it.

Nead takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Mirasty scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nead is rocked!

Travis Nead's cut is getting worse.
Mirasty lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oh Nead is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mirasty might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Nice straight punches there by Mirasty. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mirasty.
Mirasty throws a monster overhand right that drops Nead! Mirasty follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
