Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Who throws a right and a left that Machida avoids nicely.
Who throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Machida sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Who throws a hook but Machida avoids it easily.
Who takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Who throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Who throws a sloppy head kick
and Machida counters with a one-two to the body.
Some wild striking there from Machida.
Who misses with a jab to the body
and Machida counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Who!
Who is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Who is trying to stand back up but Machida is controlling him
Oh Who is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Who is breathing heavily.
Machida postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Who to stand up.
Who seems to have got his legs back now.
Who tries to clinch there but Machida circles away.
Who swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Machida throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Who.
Machida lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Who tries to clinch there but Machida circles away.
Machida throws a sloppy head kick
and Who counters with a head kick.
Machida throws a head kick but Who moves out of range.
Machida lands a head shot.
It looks like Elvis Who has been cut.
Machida drops Who with a big left hand and mounts him. Who is in big trouble!
Who is working to get back to half guard.

Who is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Machida trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Who trying desperately to get to his feet.
Machida takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Machida trying to control but Who is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machida tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Machida looking to control but Who is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Who gets back to half guard.
Who wants to get back to his feet.
Who is looking to improve his position.
Who is not content to let Machida control the position.
Machida trying to control the pace.
Who scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Machida manages to mount him!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Machida takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Who is trying desperately to improve position.
Machida controlling the pace for now.
Despite being in the dominant position, Helio Machida just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Who moves forwards but Machida connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Who closes the distance and clinches up with Machida, looking for a takedown. Who pushes Machida against the cage but Machida circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Who blocks a head kick by Machida.
Machida doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Who shoots in for a takedown but Machida shows good takedown defense.
Machida does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Who throws a looping overhand right but Machida ducks down to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Who misses with a leg kick
and Machida counters with a left and a right that hurts Who! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Machida jumps into full mount!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Machida's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Helio Machida dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Elvis Who's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Machida thuds his right hand into Who's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Machida lands with a cross.
Machida misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Who misses with an uppercut
and Machida counters with a nice right hand that sends Who toppling to the canvas! Who scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Machida finish him?!
Who motions for Machida to come forward. Who throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Who lands a high kick!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Who wants to clinch.
Machida throws a right hand that Who ducks under and follows up with a left that Who also avoids with ease.
Machida has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Jab, jab by Machida - just one landing.
Elvis Who's cut is getting worse.
Elvis Who seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Who looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Machida is fending him off so far but Who persists. Nope, Machida circles away and we're back to standing.
Machida swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Who misses with a looping right.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Machida!
Who throws a lazy uppercut
and Machida counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Who thinking.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nice body punch from Machida.
Machida jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machida looks to land a combination but Who avoids it well.
A low kick from Machida is predictable there
and Who counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Who.
Machida bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Who looks to clinch
and Machida counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Who off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Machida follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Who was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Helio Machida!
