Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tenney misses with a body shot.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Nomura fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tenney avoids it really well and circles away.
Tenney throws a series of punches but Nomura avoids them all with ease.
Tenney clinches up with Nomura and pushes him back against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nomura drops back looking for a leg! Tenney is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tenney manages to kick Nomura off! Nomura jumps back into Tenney's guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nomura is trying to drag Tenney to the mat but Tenney just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Nomura closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tenney did well to prevent Nomura getting side control.

Nomura wants to work for an arm triangle but Tenney is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Nomura is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tenney defends it well.
