Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zek Weknok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Zek Weknok has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Zek Weknok seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zek Weknok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ken Masters! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weknok takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Weknok showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Masters.
Weknok punishes Masters's body with a nice straight punch. Weknok misses with a few strikes there.
Masters swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Weknok counters with a stiff right hand. A head kick by Masters misses and Weknok counters with a big head kick but Masters shrugs it off. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Weknok slips a jab from Masters. Masters misses with a jab, cross combination.

Masters lands with a kick to the temple. Weknok shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Masters wants to land a leg kick but Weknok is out of range. Masters pushes Weknok away with a front kick. A shot to the body from Masters misses and Weknok counters with a head kick. A head kick misses from Masters. Masters misses with a double jab
and Weknok counters with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Masters throws a sloppy head kick and Weknok counters with a right hand to the body. Masters looks gassed! Weknok misses with a jab, cross combination.

Masters should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Masters throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Weknok counters with a body kick. Ken Masters is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Weknok gets a clinch. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weknok ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Weknok no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Weknok is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Weknok will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Weknok pulls Masters in close to his closed guard and prevents Masters from doing any damage or advancing position. Masters throws a strike but Weknok rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters can't keep his opponent in guard - Weknok advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Weknok is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Masters doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Weknok. Weknok passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Masters! Weknok looking to secure an arm triangle but Masters defends it well. Masters is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Weknok controlling the position easily from mount. Weknok working for a guillotine from mount but Masters is in no mood to give up. Weknok controlling the position easily from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Weknok has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Zek Weknok will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Masters waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Weknok. A head kick by Masters misses and Weknok counters with a three punch combo that has Masters backing up. Masters nods at Weknok to acknowledge the strikes. Zek Weknok is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Masters lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A head kick misses from Weknok. Masters swings for the body but Weknok moves out of range.

Weknok closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Masters is breathing heavily. Weknok breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Masters keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Weknok throws a head kick that misses. Masters looks to land a right hand but Weknok moved out of range. Weknok showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Masters.

Ken Masters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weknok connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Masters's hands. Masters throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Weknok counters with a straight right hand.

Weknok closes the distance and clinches. Weknok has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Masters uses from the top position. Weknok manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Masters manages to get himself to full guard.
Weknok's corner is telling him to maintain position. Weknok advances position into side control! Weknok in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Weknok taking a breather here. Weknok seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Masters for as long as he can get away with.

He has the arm isolated but Masters is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. A lull in the action here as Weknok stalls from top position. Weknok looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Masters is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Weknok is controlling him well. Weknok decides to take the fight back to the feet. Masters waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Weknok. A head kick by Masters misses and Weknok counters with a right hand to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Now he's in top in Masters's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Weknok slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Weknok sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Masters's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Weknok is trying to work for a kimura but Masters is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters is in trouble now - Weknok has advanced to mount! Masters has given up his back. Will we see Weknok going for some submissions?
Masters is trying to stand back up. Weknok working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Weknok is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Masters knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Masters for a finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Good control from Weknok. Masters is trying to get back to his feet but Weknok has full control of the position and if anything, Masters has just worked his way into a worse spot. Ken Masters has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Masters fending off the submission attempt from Weknok. Weknok is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Weknok working for a choke but Masters is defending well. Masters is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Masters defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Weknok has good solid back control here. Zek Weknok is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Zek Weknok showed his dominance in that final round. Well Weknok has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
