Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Redof Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Throat!. Redof Castro has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Royce Gracie's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Royce Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Redof Castro! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Castro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Gracie working away. Castro tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Castro has escaped the position, nice work there. Castro wants to control but Gracie postures up. Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castro manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Castro looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Gracie is thwarting Castro's attempts to control the position. Castro wants to get back to his feet. Castro wants to get back to full guard. Castro wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy and won't allow it. Castro is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gracie's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gracie's back! Castro throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Gracie!
Castro is trying to stick to Gracie's back but Gracie is turning into Castro. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Castro's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Gracie. Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Castro working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gracie. Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gracie thows a big elbow that misses. Castro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Castro tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gracie trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Castro sprawls well. Castro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet. Gracie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Castro did well to prevent Gracie getting side control. Castro trying to control from the bottom.
Gracie wants to work for an arm triangle but Castro is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Gracie is breathing heavily. Castro is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily. Gracie is working for a kimura but Castro is defending it quite comfortably.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castro gets full guard. Castro looking for a guillotine here but Gracie defends easily.

Gracie is looking to work some ground and pound but Castro has wrist control. Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Castro is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard. Castro is working Gracie over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie looking for a triangle here. Castro is fighting it but it looks tight! Gracie pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Castro is tapping out - this one is all over!
