Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between HH Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martell Hennessey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hennessey clinches with his opponent.
Hennessey tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Holmes avoids it.
A frustrated look appears on Holmes's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Holmes has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Holmes drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hennessey gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hennessey has Holmes pressed against the cage, preventing Holmes from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Hennessey is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Hennessey manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holmes connects with a couple of short punches.
Hennessey lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Holmes!
Hennessey misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Holmes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Holmes tries to get out of the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Holmes tries to buck Hennessey off but he can't manage it.
Hennessey can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Holmes is looking to escape.
Hennessey is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martell Hennessey dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hennessey throws a series of punches but Holmes avoids them all with ease.
Hennessey tries to clinch up but Holmes circles away and keeps his distance.
Holmes slaps away a takedown attempt from Hennessey, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hennessey tries to clinch but Holmes is having none of it.
Holmes throws a right hand that Hennessey ducks under and follows up with a left that Hennessey also avoids with ease.
Holmes misses with a series of wild punches.
Hennessey doesn't manage to clinch there - Holmes circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hennessey scores with a nice body kick.
Hennessey fails with a takedown attempt.
Hennessey shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Holmes napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A lull in the action here as Hennessey stalls from top position.
Hennessey decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Hennessey shoots in for a takedown but Holmes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
HH Holmes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martell Hennessey.
Hennessey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hennessey lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Holmes tries to kick Hennessey off but Hennessey keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Hennessey stands up and beckons Holmes to join him on the feet.
Holmes throws a big shot that misses.
Hennessey tries to clinch but Holmes is having none of it.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hennessey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Holmes misses with a combination
and Hennessey counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Hennessey prevents Holmes from standing back up.
Hennessey is taking a breather. Holmes says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Holmes kicks Hennessey off and gets back to his feet.
Holmes misses with a combination
and Hennessey counters with a single leg into guard. Holmes didn't expect that.

Hennessey controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hennessey slips nicely into half guard.
Hennessey is trying to control. Holmes wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hennessey wants to stand up but Holmes is controlling the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Holmes scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hennessey manages to mount him!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martell Hennessey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Holmes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Hennessey counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Hennessey stands up and waves to Holmes to follow him.
Hennessey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Holmes squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Hennessey is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Hennessey has control of Holmes's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Holmes regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Holmes is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Hennessey connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Hennessey is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Holmes is surviving well by controlling Hennessey's body position as best he can.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
BOOM! Hennessey connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Martell Hennessey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hennessey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
